Loomie — Privacy Policy

Loomie is a cozy word-puzzle game published by ZetaComs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We keep it minimal on purpose: you can play without giving us any personal information.
In short: no name, email, or account signup is required. We create an anonymous ID on your device, store your game progress and scores, and — if you allow them — send optional notifications and show ads. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Information we collect
- Anonymous device ID. On first launch we generate a random identifier stored on your device and derive an anonymous account ID from it. It is not linked to your real identity.
- Gameplay data. Words solved, streaks, levels, coins (an in-game virtual currency with no cash value), match results, and leaderboard scores.
- Display name & avatar (optional). If you set a display name or pick an avatar, they appear to other players on leaderboards and in live matches. Pick a nickname — you don't need to use your real name.
- Push token (optional). If you enable notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token and your time zone/locale so reminders arrive at a sensible hour. You can turn this off anytime in Settings.
- Advertising identifiers. When ads are shown, our ad partners (below) may access your device's advertising ID to limit repeats and measure ads.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or payment information. Loomie has no real-money purchases.
2. How we use it
- To run the game: save progress, sync coins, rank leaderboards, and match you with other players.
- To send optional reminders (streaks, saved games, tournaments) if you opt in.
- To show ads that help keep Loomie free.
- To keep the game safe (basic word/content filtering).

Loomie's content is family-friendly, but the app is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, contact us and we will remove the associated data.
5. Data retention & your choices
- You can turn off notifications and personalized ads in your device settings and in the app's Settings.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page.
- We keep gameplay data while your account is active; deleted accounts are removed from our database.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
